Brain Conditions
Epilepsy
A disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed, causing seizures.Epilepsy may occur as a result of a genetic disorder.
Brain Infection
Infections can also cause inflammation of the layers of tissue (meninges) that cover the brain and spinal cord—called meningitis.
Hydrocephalus
Hydrocephalus is a condition that occurs when fluid builds up in the skull and causes the brain to swell. The name means “water on the brain.”
Parkinson's Disease
Parkinson's is a disorder of the nervous system that affects movements and develops slowly & gradually.
Head trauma
Traumatic head injuries are a major cause of death and disability but it might be best to refer to the damage done as traumatic brain injury.
Memory disturbances
Memory disturbance is different from memory loss (amnesia). In this section causes of irregular or inappropriate memories are discussed.
Spine Conditions
Myelopathy
An injury, accident, blow, or other traumatic events to the spine can damage it and cause myelopathy. This may result in paralysis.
Low Backache
Lower back pain can be caused by a variety of problems with any parts of the complex, interconnected network of spinal muscles, nerves, bones, discs or tendons in the lumbar spine.
Radiculopathy
Radiculopathy is a pinched nerve in the spine. It occurs with changes in surrounding bones and cartilage from wear and tear, or from injury.
Spinal Infection
Spinal infections can be classified by the anatomical location involved: the vertebral column, inter vertebral disc space, the spinal canal and adjacent soft tissues.
Muscle Conditions
Myopathy
Myopathy refers to any disease that affects muscle tissue. Diseases of the muscle result in weakness, inflammation, tetany (spasms), or paralysis.
Myalgias
Myalgia, or muscle pain, is a symptom of many diseases and disorders. The most common causes are the overuse or over-stretching of a muscle or group of muscles.
Neuro Muscular Disease
Myasthenia gravis
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular disorder that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles, which are the muscles your body uses for movement.

Nerve Conditions
G B S
Guillain-Barre (Ghee-yan Bah-ray) Syndrome (GBS) is a rare disorder that causes your immune system to attack your peripheral nervous system (PNS).
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a disorder that causes muscle pain and fatigue (feeling tired). People with fibromyalgia have pain and tenderness throughout the body.
Peripheral Neuropathy
Peripheral Neuropathy refers to the conditions that result when nerves that carry messages to and from the brain and spinal cord from and to the rest of the body are damaged or diseased.
